Covid-19: Travel precautions reminder

During this outbreak of Covid-19, commonly referred to as Coronavirus, it is important that we all do our utmost to prevent the spread of the virus.

ViaMichelin would thus like to remind you of the essential ground rules, particularly in terms of travel:

  • Restrict all your movements to a bare minimum (food, medical care),
  • Reduce all use of public transport and avoid intercity movements,
  • Work from home whenever possible.

We would also like to remind you of the simple gestures that will preserve your health and that of those around you:

  • Wash your hands very regularly,
  • Cough or sneeze into the inside of your elbow or a paper tissue,
  • Refrain from shaking hands and maintain a distance of at least one metre with people you meet,
  • Use paper tissues and throw them away after use.

If you have any symptoms (cough, temperature) that make you think you might have Covid-19: stay at home, avoid contact with others, call a doctor before going to their surgery or call regional health care services. It may be possible to consult a doctor by video conference.

During these troubled times, all those who are sick are in our thoughts and the entire ViaMichelin team would like to commend the commitment of the medical teams so hard at work helping them.
Getting out and about and rediscovering our landscapes will be all the more appreciated in a few weeks time. Until then, take of yourself and those around you…

Best wishes from the ViaMichelin team… all working from home!
