The most beautiful Italian cars showcased at the 2019 International Automobile Show of Monaco

 - 28/02/2019

The 3rd edition of the International Automobile Show of Monaco (SIAM) runs until 3rd March 2019. In all, some sixty manufacturers, among which Alpine, Bentley, Ferrari, Lotus, Morgan, Rolls-Royce, Tesla and Smart, are expected in the Principality during this glamorous event, under the high patronage of His Serene Highness, Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Italy is particularly in the limelight this year and the general public will be able to see close up some very rare models among which the autonomous Icona Nucleus concept car, the Vulcano Titanium hypercar, the GPL Tecno Montecarlo Nanni Galli hybrid hypercar and the Dallara Stradale GT Italmotor. Lamborghini alone will be showcasing a Huracan Performante, a Huracan Performante Spyder and an Aventador S Roadster.

Visitors will even be able to test drive some of the cars on the open road in Monaco, possibly even along the legendary F1 race track, at legal speed limits, of course! Children are not forgotten with a range of small electric cars by Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari and Bentley.

Motor sport also takes front stage, with the presence of French former F1 driver, Philippe Streiff, godfather of the “Motorsport” pavilion. A wide range of racing cars will be on show, including a number of curiosities such as the first electric kart over 50hp, created for an international single manufacturer Tecno trophy.

During the show, the Albatech Monaco Design School will endeavour to create a new hypercar (design and scale model) from scratch.
