The Paris Motor Show, which runs October 1 to 16, 2016, is hosting an exhibition of around 50 legendary vehicles from the worlds of TV and cinema.

The exhibition "Moteur! L'automobile fait son cinéma" (Action! Cars from the movies) has been organized in partnership with Aston Martin (although the car maker is, in fact, absent from this year's show) as well as French film and TV studio and distributor Canal+, the French federation of cinema stunt doubles (Fédération des cascadeurs français du cinéma - FCFC), the French federation of historical vehicles (Fédération française des véhicules d'époque - FFVE) and France's national audiovisual institute (Institut national de l'audiovisuel - INA), which holds French radio and TV archives.

Cars already billed to appear in the exhibition include the Alfa Spider Duetto from "The Graduate," the Plymouth Fury from "Christine," the Jeep Wrangler Sahara from "Jurassic Park," the Chevrolet Camaro from "Transformers" and James Bond's Aston Martin DB10 from "Spectre." The vehicles will be arranged by movie genre, from spy films to sci-fi to comedy. The exhibition is located in Hall 8 of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition center which hosts the event.

Famous vehicles from the world of TV will also go on show, including the Citroën DS from "The Mentalist."

The 2014 Paris Motor Show welcomed just over 1.25 million visitors.

The Paris Motor Show runs October 1 to 16, 2016, at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris, France.
