Volvo owners can start their car with voice command into Microsoft Band 2

 - 01/03/2016

Volvo introduced a new feature in collaboration with Microsoft Tuesday that allows Microsoft Band 2 owners to start their car and lock the doors with a few voice commands.

Launched at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, the new feature is the latest collaboration between Volvo and Microsoft. In November, Volvo showed off HoloLens, a virtual and mixed reality headset that allows users to visualize cars in 3D and holographic form.

With the Microsoft Band 2, Volvo owners will be able to set the navigation, start the heater, lock doors, and sound the horn via a mobile app that's connected to the wearable device.
